Words that worked: Unite

The folks at Unite are standing together to transform procurement for a more sustainable future. Find out how I sat down and wrote some words to help.

Unite is a pioneering B2B platform. It brings procurement professionals and the businesses they buy from together – for mutual benefit.

A purple and orange poster in the Unite branding. It reads 'We connect the economy for sustainable business'.

Previously known as Mercateo, the company was ready for a new chapter centred around the Unite Network – the part of the business that fosters connections and builds more sustainable supply chains. In 2021, the Unite brand was born.

After working directly with Unite’s Head of Brand, Erika Mizun-Moller, and brand-led design agency The Click to develop the organisation’s new identity and brand voice, I was asked to collaborate with Unite’s marketing team to develop the new website content and write the English-language version.

A collection of slides from a Unite presentation deck. The slides include photographs of Unite employees and office environments. The text covers different issues, including 'working at Unite', 'Sustainability', and 'Seamless purchasing'.

This was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen and implement the brand voice, repositioning existing written content to reflect the new strategy. I collaborated with product owners and other key stakeholders to ensure the language accurately reflected the functionality and benefits that Unite provides.

‘Working with Sarah is knowing that the outcomes will be brilliant. She not only has all the right words but provides a clarity in thinking that any brand or business strategist will be thankful for.’
